Some things you might not know about me -
I have hiked with my wife and sons to the crater of a volcano (Kilauea in Hawaii - which experienced a significant eruption just a few weeks after our visit!) and on a glacier (Mendenhall Glacier in Alaska). Hiking on ice is a lot trickier (or at least I thought so)!
Favorite quotes -
Ask me again in three months and you may very well get a different answer, but one version of a wise outlook that I first heard many years ago in a country music song is “The only difference between stumbling blocks and stepping stones is how you use them.” (American proverb)
Paul had something much greater in mind when he wrote his letter to the Ephesians, but as adoptive parents my wife and I have always held this passage in a special place in our hearts: “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.” Ephesians 1:5
What I love most about this business -
The most rewarding part of this work is helping others make better informed and wiser decisions for themselves and families. Investments and financial plans are only means to an end, not the ultimate purpose.
